This immersive week invites children to work with their hands and the materials of the forest. Children will gather, shape, and build using natural materials while learning basic woodcraft skills such whittling, hammering, sawing, and other simple tool use. They will have the opportunity to build some woodworking projects as well as forts in the forest. Children will develop focus, confidence and respect for the forest, tools, and those around them through hands-on work.
Tuition:
$270 per child

Children who are 5-12 years old
Parents looking for a non-traditional education focused on the whole child
Children who love the outdoors or those who do not have a lot of experience in the outdoors
Children looking to develop confidence, independence, emotional identification, and regulation through nature
Parents/caregivers who prefer a no screens education
Families looking to build community connection
We are exclusively outdoors and only cancel class in extreme circumstances (thunder, lightning, extreme wind). You will be notified as soon as possible if class is canceled.
